How to Withdraw Pension Contribution from PF?
There are two ways you can withdraw your pension contributions online from your provident fund.
- Using Your Aadhar Card
If you have an Aadhaar Card, you can submit a Composite Claim Form (Aadhaar) directly to the EPFO office without needing to get your employer to attest the claim. After that, you’ll just need to attach a cancelled cheque with the form and your entire PF balance amount will be transferred to your bank account.
- Without using an Aadhaar Card
If you don’t have an Aadhaar card, you can still submit your PF (Provident Fund) number. Just fill out a Composite Claim Form (Non-Aadhaar). If you haven’t completed 5 years at your workplace, you’ll also need to submit your PAN (Permanent Account Number) and 2 copies of form 15G or 15H. If you don’t have a UAN (Universal Account Number), just provide your PF account number.
How to Withdraw Pension Contribution from EPF?
There are four conditions that you must follow in order to withdraw your pension contribution from EPF.
- If you plan on withdrawing your PF pension amount and Employee Pension Scheme amount before completing 10 years at the workplace, you can still claim both amounts. However, you will have to fill out the Composite Claim Form and select both the ‘Final PF balance’ and ‘pension withdrawal’ options. If you are planning to work again in the future, you can submit Form 10C and get a ‘scheme certificate’.
- If you have worked for more than 10 years and wish to withdraw your PF pension and EPS amount, you can fill out the Composite Claim Form along with Form 10C to receive your scheme certificate. Your pension will be paid out once you reach the age of 58.
- If you are between 50 and 58 years old and have completed 10 years at your workplace, you may be able to claim an early pension. To do so, you will need to fill out Form 10D along with the Composite Claim Form.
- If you are 58 years old, you can easily get your full pension claim by submitting Form 10D.
Choose and submit the form. Now you can enjoy the PF and EPF.
